Wide Open & Gambit ATV Shocks: These replacement shocks are designed to offer more strength than the original equipment at less than HALF the replacement cost. This shock is designed to fill the gap between the high performance, gas charged shock and the very expensive, but relatively short life original equipment. This shock is intended for those whose original shocks have worn out or are inadequate for the larger tires. Wide Open Shocks have a thicker shaft and the coil spring thickness is about 18% more. This ATV shock has a 5 position preload adjustment versus none on the OEM. They provide about 1.5" of lift on the Rancher 350, and about 1" on the 450, depending on the condition of the shocks being replaced. We don't recommend the use of aftermarket shocks and a lift kit together [on the same axle] as the total lift may put the C.V.joints under too much strain. This shock will fit an array of ATVs.
